Accidents happen they say. But your success is not going to happen by accident. In my experience leading teams and individuals to whatever success looked liked to them it took planning. It often looks like steps on a staircase, building on one step and then the next. And at the top of success you look down and well, see those steps that got you to where you wanted to be.
Step 1. Commit to your success. There is a big difference between thinking and doing. Make yourself available to that success. Say yes to all opportunity that comes your way.
Step 2. Define what is successful to you. What does your success look like? Is it tangible or a feeling you will get.
Step 3. Write down the actionable steps to get there. It is a series of habits and small steps. Are there podcasts, websites or apps to help define the actions?
Step 4. Surround yourself with people who have goals. You are the 5 people you surround yourself with.Your net worth is your network. Be around those you aspire to be like.
Step 5. Be vulnerable and open to pivot when there is a speed bump. There will be obstacles in your way but keep your eye on that success and what it will feel like when you reach it.
